Personal Response

First of all, I didn’t like the music direction. It felt forced to me, and some of the song choices were off. They didn’t feel like great decisions. But aside from that, the movie itself was great.

It reminded me of how big companies and people in power can manipulate information without caring about anyone’s well-being. I understand that Jeff was frustrated about being fired, but he still risked the safety of his entire family without asking them. I hate that his family fell apart, but realistically, he could have talked to his wife first and made it a family decision. Not saying he deserved what happened, but it was understandable.

As mentioned above, the movie is far from passing the Bechdel test. Usually, it’s hard to notice, but this movie made it so obvious that it was almost gay. LOL. Just kidding, but seriously, no woman played an important or relevant role. And of course, there’s absolutely no diversity, but that’s a whole other conversation.
